UR KORANEN - FROM THE QUR'AN

~ 1 ~

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
RABBANA AATINA FI DUNYA HASANATAN 

WA FI-L-AKHIRATI HASANATAN 

WAQINA 3ATHABA-NAR

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world 

and good in the life to come 

and keep us safe from the torment of the Fire

(2:201)

~ 2 ~

 رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ 

أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

RABBANA AFRIGH 3ALAYNA SABRAN 

WA THABBIT AQDAMANA 

WA ONSORNA 3ALA-L-QAWMI-L-KAFIREEN

Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance 

and make our foothold sure 

and give us help against those who reject faith

(2:250)

~ 3 ~

رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَ
RABBANA LA TU'AKHITHNA IN NASEENA 

AW AKHTA'NA

Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget 

or fall into error

(2:286)

رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا

كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا
RABBANA WALA TAHMIL 
3ALAYNA ISRAN KAMA HAMALTAHU 
3ALA-L-ATHEENA MIN QABLINA
Our Lord! Lay not upon us such a burden

as You did lay upon those before us

(2:286)

~ 5 ~ 

رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ

لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
 RABBANA WALA TUHAMMILNA 
MA LA TAQATA LANA BIHI 
WA3AFU 3ANNA WAGHFIR LANA WARHAMNA 
ANTA MAWLANA 
FAWNSURNA 3ALA-L-QAWMI-L-KAFIREEN
Our Lord! Impose not on us 

that which we have not the strenght to bear, 

grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. 

You are our Protector. 

Help us against those who deny the truth

(2:286)

رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا

وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
RABBANA LA TOZIGH QOLOOBANA 
BA3DA ITH HADAYTANAA
WA HABLANA MIN LADUNKA 
RAHMA INAKA ANTA-L-WA'HAAB
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate from the 
truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us 
mercy from Your grace. Verily you are 
the Giver of bounties without measure
